COMMUNITY SERVICES

We have two community book swap shelves at Big Prov in Llandudno. Pick up a book to thumb through while sipping on your flat white or trade in your books from home for something new to read off the shelves.

Providero is more than a coffeehouse - it’s a hub for community. Alongside great coffee, our spaces are home to a variety of community based services, from creative and cultural activities to social support and local partnerships. Every visit helps connect people, ideas, and opportunities.

COMMUNITY NOTICEBOARDS

Our community noticeboards can be found in Little Prov and Big Prov, and are a fantastic place to promote or discover local services, events, trades and contacts - including the latest news from the Coffeehouse.

FOOD BANK COLLECTION

We’re proud to work with Hope Restored as one of their food bank drop-off points. Donations are gratefully accepted at Big Prov and collected by the hardworking Hope Restored Team.

You can find a variety of artwork from a range of local artists displayed in both Big Prov and Little Prov. We even have a whole display dedicated to secondhand prints and paintings in collaboration with Crest Cooperative. Enjoy the beautiful pieces on display next time you stop by - most works are also available to purchase.

LOCAL ART DISPLAYS & SALES

We maintain donation-collection boxes at our coffeehouses and run a donations programme that allows us to contribute to local fundraisers and charitable events all year round. Some of the most recent fundraising projects we have supported include a fundraising walk and raffle in aid of prostate cancer and raffle donation for the Summer Fair at Ysgol San Sior.
Our Coffeehouses have also been host to a number of charitable events including a Second-hand School Uniform Hub in partnership with Conwy and Prestatyn Methodist Church, Conwy Mind Men’s Mental Health Drop In and a fundraising Clothes Sales in partnership with Prom Ally CIC.

Some of our most recent charitable work includes sponsorship of local cricket talent and Prov Team member, Oli.

We’re excited to be looking ahead to the future and setting up an Annual Charitable Partnership that will allow us to work closely with a local cause and create opportunity for more dedicated awareness, education and fundraising in our local community.

LOCAL BUSINESS COLLABORATION

Almost nothing can’t be improved by great coffee and collaboration. That’s why we partner with a number of local businesses to bring positive experiences and benefits to an even wider community. Some of the wonderful local businesses we’re currently working with include Thornley Leisure Parks, The Stella Historic B&B Llandudno, Swig Smoothies and Finding Alice.

Our retail shelves are home to a number of goods from local makers and businesses - from books authored by local legends and carefully crafted prints from Conwy to locally roasted coffee from Heartland Coffee Roasters and beautiful stained glass ornaments made by one of our wonderful regulars.
