Here at Prov, we have a diverse, friendly and passionate team. Some of us have been here since there was just one Prov to speak of, while others have only been here a short while - yet everyone adds their own vibrant personality and unique outlook to the brew!

WHO ARE WE?

This is our second “Meet the Team” instalment, where we get to tell you a bit about ourselves a few team members at a time.

Kiani

Hi Kiani, who are you?

I’m the social media manager for Prov, though you’ll also find me behind the bar “barista-ing” it up! Before working here, I was a customer for many years. Prov coffee helped me through my GCSE’s and ever since!

What’s your go-to drink?

My go to drink is an almond chai latte, but I feel like a bit of a fraud, so I’ve been weening myself onto black coffee! I have to say, Heartland’s Sweet Valley is amazing as a filter coffee. I may be converted yet!

Who’s your first choice for a coffee date when you’re checking out new places?

It has to be the love of my life, my dog, Luna! When I’m not here, we’re completely inseperable. People often see her before they see me, so they say hello to the “crazy dog lady” after they’ve said hello to Luna. You may even see Luna in Big Prov from time to time, stretched out on the floor trying to attract attention, or staring at the cake display!

Steven

Hi Steven, who are you?

Steven with a “V”, because Steven with a “ph” is just Phteven.

What’s your go-to drink?

Oat Flat White in the morning, Dirty Chai Latte or a Filter in the afternoon… though I do have an obsession with Dr Pepper as well!

What do you do to keep yourself occupied when you don’t have a coffee in front of you?

My partner and I adopted a Spaniel called Buddy at the start of last year, and his energy and enthusiasm for life is infectious to say the least! I’m also studying Counselling at Coleg Llandrillo - I think a few years working as a bartender/unofficial therapist may have inspired me.
